SUMMARY:
This article would update the Zoning Bylaw by adding a new Village Overlay District (VOD), amend the Zoning Map to include Village Overlay Districts encompassing certain parcels, and add new definitions. The purpose of this article is to comply with M.G.L. c. 40A § 3A by providing a zoning district that permits multi-family housing with an as-of-right approval process.
ARTICLE: To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning Map to create a new Overlay District and add new Section 7.5 to the Zoning Bylaw for an Overlay District to comply with MGL c. 40A for MBTA Communities; or act in any other manner in relation thereto.
DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this article is to comply with M.G.L. c. 40A § 3A by establishing a zoning district on the Zoning Map and Amend the Zoning Bylaw to permit multi-family housing with an as-of-right approval process.
