Multi-Family Zoning Requirements for MBTA Communities
A new law requires MBTA-served communities to have at least one zoning district of reasonable size in which multi-family housing is permitted.
Board members will continue to discuss possible locations to be included in the overlay district and start discussing a zoning amendment article to bring forward for Annual Town Meeting.
Attached are general locations identified by residents that attended the October 25th Housing Workshop and a presentation of key points of the law.

Enclosed are the resident created maps and comment forms from the October 25 housing workshop. The Planning Board has reviewed this material to help provide input on their zoning proposal.
On December 14, the Planning Board will be continuing their review of areas to be in the zoning overlay district and begin discussing the details of proposed zoning.
